I haven't read a lot of sci-fi in my life, but this one sounded interesting, and I'm always open to supporting new indie authors like myself. I was definitely not disappointed. The characters were real and their journeys compelling. It was cleverly written and there were lots of reveals that made me gasp while still leaving mystery nuggets to carry into the next book. For people who like space operas or Firefly, you'll definitely want to check out this book. Can't wait to see what this author cooks up next.
