Enjoyed immersing myself in yet another book about Chagall. I loved its illustrations and the overview of Chagall’s life, and the discussion of how he differed from other artists of his time. I only wish there was more there on his painting techniques.

A good addition to my art library. Lots of images and a thorough review of his life.

A fairly typical art book, but an enjoyable walk through the work of incredible artist Marc Chagall. Thankfully there are plenty of good-sized pictures of the works. As in many art books, the text is interesting in a few places, but is rather dull in others. What makes this special is Chagall's talent and seeing it change through the course of his career.
