This book is amazing! Yes, some chapters are outdated but skip them! The author put a lot of effort in them, tools from his period aren't relevant for today, use cosmigo, aseprite, photoshop or whatever you feel like.

I loved the chapter on colors, everyday app and games make much sense now.

Young children—Prefer warm and very intense colors as they instill a sense
of happiness.
Older children and young adults—Respond better to bright, warm colors
than dull, cool colors.
Adults—Prefer cooler, more subdued colors to warm, saturated colors.
Older adults—Respond better to brighter colors due to degrading eyesight.
