Rate this book
This well-organised book presents the basic ideas, terminology, and application of Spring Framework with Java.

The book begins with a discussion on dependency injection, java collections as dependent objects and null values, and moves on to describe JDBC template class, transaction management and XML marshalling which form the base of Spring Framework. Besides basic AOP concepts, Quartz scheduler and Java massage service (JMS) the book explains spring API for JMS including Java management extensions. The text also deals with accessing e-mails and supported annotations in JUnit as well as spring's support to JUnit. Finally, the book deals with web application development with web MVC and components of web services.

The book is primarily meant for the beginners and the intermediates to practice in Spring Framework with Java. Besides students, the book would also be extremely useful for professionals in the field.

Poor examples with some errors and code smells. Moreover, there is no continuity in the examples. Seems to be the work of different students, poor revision by a teacher and voilá! 400 pages of bad practices.
