Good book to think about life
This book really made me think about how I would like to be remembered. I've heard about adding things to my "bucket list" but that always seemed to be written from a position of scarcity. It was always a list of things to do before it's too late.
But this book encouraged me to think about my life from a position of abundance. It encouraged me to think about how I wish to live my life now and how I want to be remembered.
Then I thought, I don't want someone else to define my life. I want to do that.
The author shares her story about how she wants to be remembered and provides a template for you to write your own "eulogy-to-be" as she describes it.
This book reminds me of a great inventor named Alfred who happened to invent, among other things, dynamite. When his brother Ludvig died, a French newspaper mistakingly printed Alfred's name in the obituary and stated that, "The merchant of death is dead."
How that must have affected Alfred Nobel is a mystery to me. But one can only assume that he made changes in his life. Because of the endowment he left behind, the Nobel Prize was created and named after him.
This book is like a calling to anyone who reads it that, if they choose, they can be the author of their lives and determine how their eulogies are written and how they will be remembered --just like the author, Mimi Emmanuel; just like Alfred Nobel.

What a great idea!
We’re often encouraged to write a mission or purpose to guide our decisions in life. I know from personal experience as well of the experience of people I’ve taught, that it can be a traumatic writing assignment! How much more beneficial it must be to write about how you’d like to be remembered; for your personality traits, interactions with others, AND your accomplishments. In this short book Mimi Emmanuel sets out her Euology-to-be and graciously includes a template so you can work through creating your own. Use it! It’s your opportunity to let your imagination run wild and create the future of your dreams.

Delightful read
This is just the right mixture of seriousness and humor, full of sound advice about living life to the fullest. I would love to meet the author in person, as she sounds like a truly delightful and engaging person. There is nothing funeral here, just wisdom and happy attitude.

Great reminders!
This fun little book is full of important reminders of why it is so important to live life on purpose. It is never too late to redirect. Loved the visual the author created of the singed feathers of her guardian angel!

Words of wisdom. This little book gave my life a boost again. Well written and very interesting ideas for thinking about living a full life with joy every moment of the day. The guardian angel is also helpful to keep perspective on the now and the future. Short and sweet.
