Stan Lee (born Stanley Martin Lieber) was an American writer, editor, creator of comic book superheroes, and the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics.
With several artist co-creators, most notably Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, he co-created Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, Thor as a superhero, the X-Men, Iron Man, the Hulk, Daredevil, the Silver Surfer, Dr. Strange, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Scarlet Witch, The Inhumans, and many other characters, introducing complex, naturalistic characters and a thoroughly shared universe into superhero comic books. He subsequently led the expansion of Marvel Comics from a small division of a publishing house to a large multimedia corporation.
Nick Fury and Captain America! I loved this story and how it connected these two famous characters, both of whom had popular WWII story lines. I loved the fact that Fury was like speculating that certain people he met were really the Cap and Bucky (which they were) but was like 'nah, can't have been them'. It's so funny when a story does that! Overall, really enjoyed reading these two characters interact and witness another thrilling commando story with the added bonus of Captain America and Bucky!
Couldn't believe my eyes when found some classic Sgt. Fury is now available on Kindle. Brings back memories from my childhood. Good times. As the Howlers would say ... Wahoo!!!
Sgt Fury, the howlers, captain America and Bucky team up to stop the nazi’s from building a tunnel from Germany to England. Yep that’s right a tunnel. 🙄
