Since 1993 Mark has passed more than 80 Microsoft programming exams and specializes in preparing others to pass them too. His students range from professionals with decades of experience to 16-year-old apprentices with none. Mark successfully guides all of them by combining educational skills with real-world experience consulting and developing systems for enterprises worldwide.
Between 2001 and 2003 Mark was employed full-time to write official courseware for Microsoft in Redmond, USA. On a scale of 1 - 10, with one being least advanced and ten the most, my programming skills currently rank at three. I didn't need a refresher of basic programming concepts, but I needed something that was basic enough to be understood by a mind not yet immersed in C# jargon. I needed to learn C# from scratch, but I didn't need an explanation of how a "for" loop works.
Price's book, "C#7 and .Net Core: Modern Cross-Platform Development," fit the bill. Touching on topics from C# class structure to XAML to ASP.NET to Blend, Price's chapters necessarily scratch the surface. But each chapter is a perfect launching point for deeper study. If you need a quick intro to the world of C# and some of the platforms that tie into its complex world, this book is for you.

you learn a lot about performance in this book, but the book didn't deep dive into concepts and you should search for concepts
