The first and only modernization of the "bible" of Alcoholics Anonymous, A Simple Program provides an accessible, gender-equal translation for today's readers while maintaining the book's complete core text, which serves as the basis of all 12-step programs.
This book has better pronouns than the original AA big book (not nonbinary inclusive though as it was written in the 90s), but as an agnostic, I still felt like I got very little out of this translation of Alcoholics Anonymous. The entire AA big book needs to be re-written for the modern world. Staying Sober Without God by Jeffrey Munn is a much better read for agnostics and atheists.
