Well, this books has a little less friendly approach to bionformatics than some other books that I have read.
It does not explain clearly, why some things are done and you must already know what you want to do and why you want to do that. In this case, this book is really useful, because it has many clear and detailed pseudocodes of many many many algorithms.
So if you are working on some project and you need the some review of used application, this books is for you.
