What Have I Gotten Myself Into? Part 2
After everything that transpired in Florida, everyone is returning home with red eyes and heavy hearts. With the death of Zell and with Kandy, Mia, and TJ missing, everyone is struggling to find out what happened. Everyone but Maine that is. Instead of grieving the way everyone around him is doing, Maine has found his own way of coping with everything and has gained a nasty habit in the process. While Kha’Mauri's tolerance and patience for Maine’s antics has slowly began to dissolve, new information has shed light on the situation, causing him to jump into action. After the rescue of Kandy, Mia, and TJ, Kha’Mauri has truly had enough.
Tra’Mia has returned and has given birth to her daughter. Even though she knows her brother is gone, she is more accepting than Kandy. Not long after she gives birth, she soon realizes that Kha’Mauri is disappearing more and more often, but she can’t seem to figure out why. After a few details fall into play, she soon realizes why. Kandy refuses to believe that Zell left her once again, especially now that he has finally gotten his wish, and they are pregnant. Realizing that she has to get it together, not only for the health of the new baby but for TJ, she continues to push on. However, one of Zell’s flings from the past is still holding on and refuses to let go, even if that means going the extra mile.
Keunte has had enough of his brother and refuses to let him get away with his antics, along with his niece. Looking for them becomes his top priority, but he has bigger plans for those from his past who caused him to miss out on his daughter’s life. Revenge is sweet, but vengeance taste better. This book started off nice and steady... Then all of a sudden someone steps on the gas and this book just takes off... So many things start happening but we don't know which way it is coming from and who is behind it all... It is so crazy because just when it seems like Zell and the crew has everything in order... They are hit with something else even bigger... A little confused on the relationship with Kandice and Kandrice... Are they sisters or not... Who is Kandrice daddy and mama... What is the true story behind them and their family...
This family whew I don't even know what to say about them... Especially Zell... I mean he has been through alot but for some reason, his past with a woman named Isabella is reeking havoc on his whole family... I just don't get how it is so hard for these men to try to take Zell and the family down but these women have no problems being untouchable and are able to manage bringing these men to their knees...
I can't wait to find out who this secret person is that is also bringing drama to the family... And what secret did they not want Nivea to reveal... What is her story or background...
What is up with Dutch... Why is he going so hard trying to get Kandice back... I mean he wanted to be with her best friend right... Then she caught him in another compromising position... But he still thinks he has a chance.... This man is delusional...
I guess I will have to read part 3 to find out how this will all play out

This series has me at the edge of my seat. I'm patiently ( impatiently) waiting on part 3. Please hurry...the suspense is killing me! Kudos to R Michelle. Excellent writing skills.

Wth!!
Man I got to talk about the ending before the beginning. That was some ending!! I am like wth just happened? R. Michelle you did it again huni! You know my heart was broken when Zell got shot in book 1, but you made it up with them sharing their memories of him. Great read!!! This is definitely a page turner. Don't get caught sleeping on R. Michelle.
