100 Things I Learnt About Learning. Qayyum Jumadi. Sorok Kitab. 2016.

Setebal 139 mukasurat.

3) Jap, kau tahu tak siapa Qayyum Jumadi ni?

5) Englishjer is social media youth initiative that aspires to connect some of the dots of education gap in Malaysia by making English more realtable, approachable, and unintimidating.

8) Do good things. Good people will follow.

Satu perkara lagi, jangan lupa 'like' facebook page Englishjer.

10) Wahai manusia, banyakkanlah membaca. Semoga kau bahagia !

It was an OKAY book. I can't say it's good nor great. It was just OKAY, okay?

The things written in the book had been repeated elsewhere by various peoples, and though I expect a personal touch from the author himself, yet I failed to see that much.

The book in all honesty is like a thread of Tweets/Facebook posts from someone, and it annoyed me that this kind of book is being published to the public. There are better books out there that's worth the money. With better insights and excellent examples too!

I know, I know that this book might be intended for a coffee book. A relaxing read. Hence, the pretty illustrations and thick quality papers.

Though at some points, I can see some contradicting opinions from the author, so it's kind of frustrating. Can you just make up your mind first before you writing a book?

Anyway, not sure if I recommend this book to others. Maybe I would recommend this to someone who is starting to read an easy to understand English medium book.

A quick read, read in one sitting.

The quotes? Just okay for me because I have read similar quotes before. But I have found my new favourite quotes here.

Book cover and ilustrations are nice.

98th of 100 things, "This page is intentionally left blank in honour of all the blanks that we go through in life. It's alright, it happens to the best of us." ~page 119.

Because of this blank page, I assume the author try to top up the 100 things with the 101st. "The world is usually not what it says it is!" ~page 124.

I love this book. I can say it as a RARE book as how the book look like. Just simple, personal quote with cute illustrations. And bonus pages reserved at the ending pages for rare bombastic vocabs with the way how to used it. Eg: Kiasu, Cliché, Glass Ceiling, Out of Juice, Vice Versa & more. 😍😍😍😍😍 Whoaa!!!

Just enough! The author end his writing with an ulama' saying as tazkirah (reminder) in learning.

"All humans are dead, except those who have knowledge. And all those who have knowledge are asleep, except those who do good deeds. And those who good deeds are deceived, except those are sincere. And those who are sincere are always in a state of worry."

Ops~ also one more thing. It's a must-read book for those that try to struggle die hard & survive in searching knowledges. Just simple book, no stress yeah. Depression in study no more.

This book is written by Qayyum Jumadi, the founder of Englishjer. (go check out Englishjer and see what they do)
I like how the book reminds me of the simple things or pleasures about learning that I often overlook. As much as the title emphasises about learning, this one is not at all about pedagogy. In fact, I'll consider it as a pleasure reading which one can finish within an hour or less if one reads it straight without stopping.

One of my favourite quotes from this book is "Everyone can teach you something- be it a piece of information, a skill or even a person". It reminds me of how every other person knows at least a thing that I don't and that we'll never be a know-it-all. It opens up our mind to possibilities, teaches us about humility and it also cultivates our respect for other people.

I like the colourful illustrations which complement the theme of this book perfectly. Have a read and see it yourself.

100 Things I Learnt About Learning by Abd Qayyum Jumadi.

- First, buku ini sangat seronok di baca. Trust me.

- Selamat membaca !

A good book though especially whom feeling down. The quotes and his experinces give us a lesson. I really like it's cover and drawing inside that book.

Just take a short time to read it and make us thinking more and more what we really want, why we should be happy, why education is important, and the word education is too wide. Don't give any limit.

Last but not least, just read it. :)
Pardon for my english..

A quick read, especially love the illustrations.

My favourite quote from this would be "Think of your knowledge as steps of a stair, even little steps count!"

And also, share what you learn, teach them to people. Be the change you want to see in the world.

This book is good-looking. I personally bought this book because I follow both Twitter and Instagram accounts of Englishjer.

I will make this quick. You can read this book overnight. I took longer time since I'm not reading it at night. *smirking*

About its content, I can only say that it will motivate you somehow. I know you can read good quotes online but this book brought humour to me. I can relate to some of the phrases.

Trust me. Englishjer made it simple to be read. Simple English and simple writing style. You don't really need a dictionary while reading; unless you are such beginner in learning English.

The writer wants owner to share the book around but I'm very petty about things (read: books) I love, only selected people can borrow it.
