I thought that the book was okay but, it could have been more detailed because some of the things were hard to understand. I did like the graphics and I thought that they fit well with the story.

When visiting an acquaintance’s house for a party I perused their extensive book collection and found this novel (and also Vol.II in this author’s series about Michael Jackson). After commenting that it would likely be an interesting series to read I was encouraged to borrow it, and happily took the books home. While I was intent on reading the books quickly so as to return them in a timely manner, once I began reading Vol.I I was quickly enthralled with the story and eagerly read the story in just a few days anyway. I was surprised to see that the book had actually been published about 2 decades ago, but this is actually quite a good thing as the story is told without any prejudice, knowing how Jackson’s history plays out toward his eventual death. The cover is very reflective of the story, in that it doesn’t rely on unnecessary embellishments, but simply highlights Jackson himself and the unique story of the man himself and his incredible life. The book is really easy to read and would be absolutely ideal for fans of Jackson and his music, but just as enjoyable for those who would like to learn more about his life, his success and the life path that brought him such fame. Overall, this is a well-written and well edited novel that was very interesting to read and I recommend it to any reader looking to learn more about Michael Jackson and his life.
