I enjoy books like this (little jokey snippets) but it definitely isn't the best of the genre (that honour falls IMO to the Wit books by Des MacHale along with the specific Punch and Private Eye volumes of snipptes). It raises a few smiles but the quality is wildly uneven and a lot of the stories feel very familiar. I would pass unless you are a real devotee of books like this.
