I think the book did a good job. it could have been better in explaining and walking through progressive implementations - as the PacktPub book Learning RabbitMQ did - and also in proofreading it before publishing (which seems to be a very common error for PacktPub's books which I have read - get some editors, guys!), but all in all I do believe it is a reasonably good introduction to basic core OpenStack bits and pieces.
