Sneaky suspicion

So ...
After reading part 1, I had a couple of red flags.

1) Didn't like Roland, he was the worse. No respect for women. That guy who is a "nice" dog.
2) way too much bs drama, so much so you barley see the couple develop as a couple
3) Nagging suspicion that Roland was originally written as a black guy and on a whim the author decided to write an IR and chance his race

After reading part 2,

Yup definitely hate Roland.
The drama again was way too much.
Why so many women in these book are ridiculous weak jealous and hateful?
First time, I felt bad that a couple got an HEA.
Let's just say I'm more convinced than ever Roland was originally written as a black character. It's in the details.

Not impressed with these books at all.

Worth paying for.

Normally I do not read the serial books. I am glad I did. I even paid for the second book. I was not disappointed. It was really well written with a good story.
