It's more Python than quants. I believe better learning is when you program along the theory. Still, purely accidentally I was searching for more information on PRNG for Monte Carlo simulator, and this book was helpful in this case.

I love how author very careful about to use python for computation the correct way and explain it in very detailed, one downside is not a book it's self it's about title i would rate this 5 star if it named "Python for Computation" or "Python for Quantitative Task" etc

Great book, very thorough; lots of exercises and easy to read. Some good examples explaining conceptual ideas, even for those who haven't done maths in awhile. Can't wait for vol.2
