Its a great book to get you started with the technology in general, from using a static site generator to the point of deploying. It gives you a very basic kick start on some common static site generators. The chapter on Hugo just scratches the surface and I would have preferred to go a bit more in detail. Also, the fact that Hugo doesnt come with basic scaffold, the part of building a site from scratch is kind of missing.

Nice overview, but surely there is much much more that can be said and explored about static content, and its involvement into nowadays web.
