I came across many articles, e-books, courses that claimed to be the perfect guide to AX Implementation projects. But in my personal opinion “Microsoft Dynamics AX Implementation Guide”, by Yogesh Kasat and JJ Yadav, truly is a phenomenal self-help book for AX implementation.

Across all ERP implementations Dynamics AX is considered one of the most complex undertakings given the fact that it has to cater to Enterprise and Large Scale Organizations and their myriad Functions, Domains and Business units. But the step-by-step implementation approach, real-life scenarios and aspects like infrastructure planning, requirement gathering, data migration, functional & technical designs recommended by this guide prove very beneficial no matter how complex the AX implementation project is.

A highly recommended guide for managers involved in AX implementation projects.

Microsoft Dynamics AX Implementation Guide provides a nice overview of the process of a typical Dynamics AX implementation. The book walks through implementation steps. The broad steps should be pretty familiar to anyone who has done an ERP implementation whether that was specifically Dynamics AX or something else. There's plenty of AX specific items in here to flesh out the details. Let's be clear, you won't be able to read this book and then implement Dynamics AX. That would be monstrous in size. You will come out with a clear understanding of what to expect and how and where time, energy and money will be spent in an AX implementation.
