I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada, and I write speculative fiction (fantasy, sci-fi, horror), as well as poetry. I have been plying the trade for several years, periodically interrupted by those pesky events from life.
I have published independently and authored such books as the Saga of the Outer Islands series, the Killers and Demons series, Fairy Tale Fusion, and Ruined City. I've also had stories published in various anthologies, including Hell's Empire, A Twist of Fate, the Christmas Lites series and Mechanized Masterpieces from Xchyler Publishing.

3.5 Stars. Very funny little book of cliches which I plan to keep for those times I'm tempted to use some of them in my writing. As I was reading, I thought of more, I wish she'd gone all out and given a complete list or even another book of writing cliches or cliches in general. There's a good idea.

I recommend this simply for a good laugh or for anyone, like me, who now and then allows cliches to slip in where they don't belong.
