This is a decent read for what the book says it wants to do. I took a logic class freshman year of high school and I can see how this would have given me a bit of a head start had I read it before taking the class. Reading it now brought back some good memories of doing logic puzzles. But, overall a very simple read with just the most basic info (I guess that’s why you call it a primer). It was nothing mind blowing, but I enjoyed the quick read. The practice questions were pretty decent as well for what the book was trying to do.
