This month Devolution Z Horror Magazine delivers more monsters, more terror and yes, more sleepless nights with 13 new original short stories and poems for your reading pleasure. Published monthly.
In this issue:
POETRY “Homeless Homecoming” by Robert E. Petras “The Comfort of Screams" by G. O. Clark “The Abattoir” by Samuel Rabelais
SHORT STORIES “Little Nicky Todd” by Brian H. Seitzman “Land Sharks” by Lizz-Ayn Shaarawi “Strength in Numbers” by K. I. Borrowman “The Stubborn Window” by A.P. Sessler “Godot Showed Up” by Kevin Wetmore “The Seer” by Charles Robertson “A Dead Heart isn’t Fickle” by T. Fox Dunham “Sacred Immersion” by Jeffrey Todd “Staying Alive” by Ben Howels
SERIAL STORY “Z Journal of Ivy Gage” (Part 2) by Alarick Vaughan
I downloaded this to have something to read on the subway to and from work. Honestly, it was the cover that caught my attention: very creepy!
The first story I read was “Little Nicky Todd”, it was really good and it set the tone for the rest of the magazine. I loved it.
My favourite story was “The Stubborn Window”. A very Hitchcock-style tale. I kept thinking it was aliens.
You have to understand that this is an all-fiction magazine. There are no articles, no interviews, just stories and poems. Just the way I like it. None of that advertising nonsense.
I would definitely check this out if you love creature horror as much as I do.
I’m going to check out the previous issue and see if it is as good.
UPDATE: They have print versions now. 5 stars all the way!
