After seeing the results of a friend's love of making her own greeting cards, I started to "study up" on the subject to see if this hobby-craft would interest me. After looking at several other books and then this one, I can understand the draw of creating your own cards. The time and effort (and the number of supplies needed!) is a little daunting, but seems worth it when you can send a personalized handmade greeting.

The Complete Practical Guide is just what the title says. A good place for the beginning paper engineer with plenty of ideas for more advanced crafters.

(Side note: Beautiful cards aside, I will not be taking up this as a hobby. I think I will stick with stringing necklaces and bracelets).
