The INVADERS are trapped on a hostile world and under relentless attack from a mind-controlled god. Facing a fate worse than defeat, will CAPTAIN AMERICA, NAMOR, THE HUMAN TORCH and WINTER SOLDIER become the means for the KREE EMPIRE to conquer the galaxy?!
The first arc of All-New Invaders ended excellently. This series is definitely a much better experience to read as a trade.
The first five issues pretty much establishes the power set of the Invaders crew and how Captain America is the glue that hold them together. Cap always has a plan and just because one has caught him doesn't mean it isn't the captor that is ensnared.
A great first arc and a great way to launch this series which I feel is underrated. James Robinson giving the reader wants and that is more stories in the vein of his JSA run. Robinson's knowledge of comicbook history and continuity serves him very well in the title which has roots in the first Marvel comicbooks.
Steve Pugh is knocking it out of the park with his art. I he stays on this book beyond the initial storyline.
