A Plethora of Information About Delphi

This entire issue is concerned with some aspect of Delphi. It's very wide ranging in its coverage, both in ancient times and modern. For example, there is a famous motto of "Know Thyself" engraved over the entrance. Two authors, one being Ralph Waldo Emerson, consider what this might mean. Elisa Cuttjonn takes a look at the transdisciplinary research on the gaseous fumes at the Temple of Apollo at Delphi. There are also different takes on what "the undiscovered country" might mean from Shakespeare to Star Trek. Another very interesting article was about the Pythian Games both ancient and modern regarding Delphi, and about the Pan-Hellenic Delphic Games. This is a real treasure trove of information about Delphi.

Delphic Sampler

A series of short articles, poems and pictures covering the Oracle at Delphi. You’ll get a flavor for both the history any mythology of this famous ancient site. With authors ranging from Emerson to H Spencer Lewis, you get a variety of insights - most with a mystical undertone. An interesting read.

Delphi A Return To Enlightenment

I highly recommend this collection of speeches, stories and photos of Delphi to everyone interested in Hellenismos. It is time for a rebirth of Ancient Greek Religion and Philosophy.
