Short but sweet! This little book takes you through the steps of delivering a lesson, and it's a good model for a lesson. Nothing groundbreaking, but I think this would be an excellent introduction to lesson planning for student teachers or people considering training. Trainee teachers are given a lot to read, are overworked and exhausted; short and purposeful 'crash' courses like this might be very effective.

This book was truly dreadful. I read it for a mock PLC group in one of my education classes, and there was literally nothing in it that we hadn't already learned in class. We were able to have some very meaningful conversations based on the content, but that was really about it.
Perhaps this book would be good for someone with absolutely no training in education or lesson planning, but for anyone taking (or who has taken) a decent education course, there will not really be anything to learn.

Helpful because I’m a complete novice, but not very thorough. I feel like if I had been trained as a teacher (I’m planning lessons for an alternative
Learning environment) that this book would not have had any useful information.

Very insightful

This book included insights from veteran teachers. I like the sample lesson plan and smart goal. I wish more information was included for including differing abilities for students with IEP's.
