The Alpha of the Belesone Pack, Milo, is stunned to find that the Elders have chosen a mate for him. At nearly twenty years of age, he should have mated by now. But although he can sense her, she proves elusive. To discover that the Elders have chosen a mate that is not his true mate, the one he is destined to be with, is bad enough. When he discovers that they have chosen Katarina Torlov, the runt of the pack, as his bride, it’s beyond a joke. But Milo soon discovers that Katarina is much more than she seems.

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. An Alpha who needs to have his empathy meter installed. He can sense his mate but can't seem to find her. She's right under his feet but he's to caught up in himself to figure it out. I enjoyed the book even if I wanted to slap the Alpha a few times. I figured it out early on. The Oracle is a very special wolf and what others see as a detriment really isn't. Everyone looks at the outside vice getting to know her. She has to come to grips with herself too. Overall highly enjoyable and can't wait to read more from this author.

Milo is a very young Alpha of a large pack. At nineteen, he has been Alpha for two years and has been directed by the elders to mate. He can sense he true mate but the connection is often lost and he cannot find her. Milo's twentieth birthday is fast approaching and the elders chose a mate for him, Katarina. Katarina is different from the rest of the pack. Her appearance is smaller, sleeker, and even her coloring is different. When the pack races away, she lags behind. Milo sees only a worthless, weak girl. Not a mate for an Alpha.
Even though Milo is the Alpha, he has much growing up to do and is still swayed in his decisions by inexperience. The classic "do not judge a book by it's cover." People are often more than what they appear to be when we do not take the time to get to know them. What Milo thinks are her weaknesses are her strengths. Katarina's differences do not make her weak or undesirable. Katarina must also chose to embrace her differences from her pack as herself and not weaknesses.
I got this in exchange of an honest review, I liked the plot and the flow of events was nice I loved the characters a lot I am a huge lover of wolf shifters and this one did it for me as well Katrina and Milo are wonderful characters I loved how they meet interact and how everything starts I was surprised for a while in a few scenes but the rest was wonderful work.I cant wait for the next book.
