A book for the beginning to the more experienced Arduino enthusiastic, perfect to get you started on all your Arduino projects. Arduino Development Cookbook is written by Cornel Amariei and is this young inventors debut book, but you can not tell this by the content, it is all very solid written. The book starts off with the very basics of programming the Arduino and connecting electronics and without explicitly saying so it builds up to the more advanced functions of the Arduino, not shy using some interesting shields and other expansion boards, making it a nearly complete guide to help you start off almost any project. Every recipe is described to the detail, what you need, how to wire, code breakdown, … and all in clear and understandable language, also for non-native English speakers like myself. The index is very synoptic and well thought-out, what makes this book very helpful as a reference book for Arduino adepts. For the novice in electronics the basics are nicely rolled up in the appendix of the book, so it is easy to recall to it at any time. I recommend this book to every Arduino enthusiastic, and to beginners I would advice buying this book combined with some third party starter kit over the official Arduino starter kit.
PRO´S: - For beginners and advanced users - Wide range of utilization - Not limited to basic components - Very good documented CONTRA´S: - Advanced users will not learn very much with this book, but the book could pass for a good reference for there projects.
