She was the Directorate's perfect weapon. Then she discovered who she was really killing.
On a colonized Mars centuries from now, Gunnery Sergeant Kira "Ghost" Santos doesn't ask questions. She takes the shot, completes the mission, and buries whatever's left of her conscience. She's put down insurgents, rebels, terrorists—whoever the brass says needs killing.
But when a routine raid goes sideways and the bodies don't match the briefing, Ghost glimpses a conspiracy that reaches higher than any enemy she's ever faced. What she finds in those tunnels will shatter everything she believed about the uniform she wears.
Some truths are worth killing for. Others are worth dying for. Ghost is about to find out which kind she's holding.
GHOST is a visceral military sci-fi prequel novella perfect for fans of Undying Mercenaries and Frontlines. Packed with brutal combat and impossible choices, this is where the Conscript Zero saga begins.

Ooh, what a good prequel. I was compelled to preorder book 1, Conscript Zero, immediately upon finishing this quick, action-packed military sci-fi novella prequel.
I am, however, a tad ticked-off at the author for what he did to some of the characters!
