Samara hated her job as a Hunter. Her parents were leaders of the Devil Hunters and trained her since childhood to hunt the supernatural. They hunted dragons, witches, wolves; and in Samara’s case, she hunted entire packs or clans. She already decided that this mission would be her last. She didn’t want to kill and felt that the were-creatures could not help that they were born with a beast inside them. This time, she would run and start a new life elsewhere in hiding from her parents.

Samara’s mother called while she was driving to Nevada, actually giggling as she described how they had wiped out a pack after lying to them about sparing them in exchange for information. They had gotten into the wolf database and found a large pack that they feared would attack humans. She was being sent to do recon on the pack, then report back. But as she checked into the motel, she met Devin, a werewolf-witch, at the front desk and they immediately felt a connection to each other. The idiot hunter-trainee from Denver she had checked on earlier – the one who was stupid enough to attack four werewolves and lucky they let him live – had followed her to the motel. She stormed off to her room to get away from him.

At lunchtime, Devin knocked on Samara’s door and invited her to join him. On the drive to the diner, Devin freely talked to Samara about his pack, his alpha brother-in-law, his family, and even admitted he was a wolf. His sister was also at the diner, along with her Alpha husband and her pups. Samara and Devin joined the alpha and his family for lunch – she was glad her mother couldn’t see her right now – and then the two of them walked out to the truck. Devin touched her shoulder and she felt a jolt under her skin – they had just imprinted!! He drove to his home, and she told him she was a Hunter. Using a truth spell, he questioned her about her intentions toward his pack. Would she accept Devin as her mate? Would she run away and start that new life alone? And what would she do about the disgusting Jack who had followed her to the diner and knew she met with the Alpha? If he told her parents, she could not save Devin’s family!

I enjoy this book series, but sometimes it didn’t seem to have a good logical flow. Having Devin immediately tell a stranger that he was a wolf didn’t make sense. He had no idea who Samara was or what she did. And at the diner, when he touched her and immediately kissed her, there should have been some sort of lead-up to that. He had avoided touching her then suddenly decided to imprint? It just felt a bit awkward and needed some editing. But I still enjoyed the story line and the characters. Even Jack was described well because the reader could easily dislike him! Grab a copy of the book and see how this potential disaster works out for Samara.

Samara is a hunter her parents are the leaders of the Devil Hunter’s they get their Hunter’s to go and track supernatural’s and kill them when possible and Samara is on her way to find the alpha of the Nevada’s pack. Samara doesn’t want to be a hunter after all it’s not their fault that they were born with a animal inside of them, she has enough money saved to be able to disappear but she will do this last job then she is gone. Samara arrives at a hotel she’s dead tired but when she see’s the guy at the desk there’s an immediate attraction, all Samara wants is for someone to love her just for her she is desperate for it, her parents never showed her love she was just a tool for them to use nothing more. Devin is a witch wolfshifter he has been aching for his mate and to have pups running around, he is working at the front desk of the hotel when this gorgeous woman walks in and he wants to know every little thing about her. But what will happen when they find out about each other?, and will Samara get her happily ever after?. I loved this story and sadly it’s the last one to this fantastic series. A fantastic story a 5 plus +++++ ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Samara is a wolf hunter and has been trained by her parents who are the pivotal leaders of the hunters in the states. She;s on a mission to find a pack in Austin, Nevada. When she gets there she goes into the motel and gets a room. There Devin is at the desk and as she walks in he perks up. He is the last in his pack to be unmated and is looking. When he sees Samara, he wants to touch her to see if they are mates. Then an idiot hunter shows up and angers Samara. She wants out of the family business and has a place in California waiting for her. That plan is knocked off when she falls hard for Devin who is not only a wolf but a witch too. As they are coming to learn of each other, trust needs to be built not only between Samara and Devin but between Samara and the pack. The Samara hears from her mother that they are on the way.
Fast action and some tears will be shed as a fight ensues.

Great ending to the series

Samara is the daughter of the leaders of the U.S. branch of the Devil Hunters. An intelligence specialist, all she wants is a normal life. Spying on the Austin Nevada pack is going to be her last mission. Then she is going to disappear, that was before she met and imprinted with Devin.
Devin loves living in the pack. Being surrounded by mates is lonely. He is thrilled when he imprints with Samara. Then he learns what she is. He knows she is telling the truth on wanting to leave.
Trouble is coming. Samara's parents want the Austin Nevada pack.
The Hunters have a edge. Walter knows what it is. The pack is ready.
The final show down with the hunters is now, and not all survive.
Fast paced and steamy. Samara and Devin's story wrap up the series nicely. A great epilogue.

Devil Hunter Samara wants out but is on one last mission then she meets Devin.
Samara is the daughter of the leaders of the US Devil Hunters and has been trained since a young child to be a hunter but she has not yet killed and wants out to lea a normal life. She has been arranging things so that she can disappear and make a new life elsewhere. Her last mission is the do recon on a wolf pack that is aided by witches. As she checks in to her motel she meets Devin who is a werewolf/ witch and they are attracted. The more they are together they realize that they are imprinting to become mates. How can they survive to become fully mates. A paranormal romance to relax and enjoy.

I am so sad this is the final book in this series as I am really going to miss reading about these characters. I can say that this was such a great ending to the series. I love the fact you can read the books as stand-alone but I feel they are so much better to read in order. The action in this book is so good as well as the between the sheets action. This is a brilliant shifter series but I will ask for one thing from the auther try to write about this characters again at some stage.

Samara is torn between her loyalty to her family that shows know love for her and the witch wolf Devin that imprinted with her. After reading this book I want to go back and read the entire series from book One. McKayla did a great job showing the emotion in her book and kept me turning each page. Before I even knew it I was at the end of the book; devoured it in four hours. Highly recommend this book to anyone that is wanting to read about a girl that finds a true family when her family is messed up in the head.

Her fucking parents deserved alot worse than they got!! It's surprising that she was born into that psycho family especially when she never believed in the way they did. It's VERY UPSETTING of those that died on the wolf/witch side. Alot of them haven't been mates long and they died. It was a senseless killings over stupidity!! At least she is keeping her promise about treating her kids with lots of love, etc unlike what she never had B4. And they even did good on naming their son as a tribute 2 one of the fallen. This book was really emotional 4 me toward the end with that mini war.

Wow what a final book to the series. As with each book in the series, it can be read as a stand alone but is so much better if read in order. This book has all sexy hot scenes. action and amazing characters as all the other books in the series. The final battle is brutal on both sides. I am going to miss the characters and hope this author will find away to write more for these characters in the future. I recommend this series for anyone who likes a great shifter book.

Samara is the daughter of the leaders of the devil hunters and she doesn't want to be a hunter then she met Devin. Devin's sister Maria is the alpha's wife. Samara was sent in to kill the whole pack but she doesn't want to and she has to do with the idiot Jack Johnson showing his hunter necklace off and making everything more difficult for her.

A climactic battle between hunters and shifters ends in many lost lives but it's also the beginning of a new life for Samara and Devin. A lovely way to end the series.

This next book in the series is interesting as a stand-alone. Samara is a different type of woman. Devin seems like a nice guy, but it would have helped to have more of his personal history. Overall this is an enjoyable story.

Final book of the series. She was born and trained to be a hunter. But killing isn’t what she is or can do. One more mission for the hunters and she is out. But when she meets one handsome and charming man she may need to rethink everything and how to become a person who protects. The story has some fighting and deaths. There is also some hot bedroom scenes when mates find each other.

This book is the ninth and final book of the legend series. It was action packed and entertaining. And steamy! The sexual tension between Samara and Devin added to the thrill.
