When a hurricane washes out my plans of a girls’ trip to Miami, I’m anything but thrilled to be spending my Fourth of July weekend alone.
That is until I return home and find myself face-to-face with a handsome stranger in the middle of my living room.
He’s six-foot-three, tatted, and looks like he eats dumbbells for breakfast.
Not to mention, he’s soaking wet from the storm brewing outside.
I should scream, run, or call the police.
So why don’t I?
Because I’m too focused on taming my bucking heart and silencing the reckless thoughts bouncing through my head every time his hungry eyes land on mine.
Additionally, a dead cell and no electricity mean no one’s coming to save me.
And from the way I can’t stop clenching my thighs, I don’t think I want them to.

Sawyer loved her job, but her life was mundane. She was in need of some excitement. Looking forward to her Miami trip, quickly derailed when a hurricane hit town. But here’s the kicker, there’s a strange, large, yet handsome man sitting on her couch when she comes home pissed about her flight being cancelled. What the hell? But does she scream, make a fuss or kick him out? Nooo, she fusses at the man like they an old married couple and gets caught up.
Sawyer, I would have to agree with your sister girl. Your bleeding heart gone get you messed up! The chemistry between her and Kareem was already smokin’ hot, but enter the D, and ya girl was done for!
Kareem, seems to be a good guy, just caught up in the street life. But when the accident happens, he and his twin seemingly catch a break. Without many options and the storm bearing down on him, Kareem takes a chance and shelters in Sawyer’s place. What he didn’t expect was such a beautiful woman to come home, exchange barbs with him, help him out, and not call the cops. He tried to ignore his attraction to Sawyer, but the feeling was too intense. Lawd, they was getting it in! Whew!!!
But what happens now that Sawyer knows the truth? Is it too late to pull back the feelings that have quickly grown for Kareem? Will she put her life and freedom on the line for him? That ending… I knew it would happen! Can’t wait to see how this all unfolds.

Chemistry: wasn’t enemies but definitely was not feeling one another UNTIL they started feeling each other🤭😈.
Spice: What else is there to do in a Hurricane😳🤷🏽♀️Let me tell you that the rain outside their building was probably drier than our FMC🥵🥵🥵…
Pacing: amazing

I’ve read this author before and one thing I adore about her writing is the way her story comes to life for me mentally.
A clear visualization- my mental movie.
Not only is the imagery (through her use of words) engaging you into the story; The banter between our main characters draws you in with its realism.
Definitely what I’m used to in her previous books and she pulled through the same way with this one.
I never felt like I was reading the story- I felt like I was actually ‘the fly on the wall” the entire time.

I definitely cannot wait for part 2 because some questions must be answered. However, this is a book that can be read and enjoyed without part 2 out (for now😒😏😎)

Book Two!!!
When the authors of BLP get together and write a series, you mind will be blown and you will have added 12-21 new books to your collection or TBR!!
KL Hall did an amazing job with this Gemini story and I love that it’s going to be a part two and I grateful she told us in her introduction so I was well prepared for the ending.
Sawyer and Kareem’s love/lust story was supposed to be what happens in a hurricane stay in a hurricane according to Sawyer but of course that didn’t happen. They both had mixed feelings about the drama that surrounded Kareem’s life but their pull to each other was strong.
If you love a good what happens in hurricanes, stay in hurricanes (one night/weekend stand) love story then this book is a must read!!

Awesome Read
A hurricane changed the lives of Kareem and Sawyer. Sawyer wasn't expecting to get home to a strange man after leaving the airport. It was bad enough that the weather canceled her plans. Kareem ran to the first visible apartment that he could find. His breaking and entering brought him a truly desirable weekend. He and Sawyer shared some of the most amazing experiences. Once she found out the truth, she became distant. That didn't change how she felt. Can't wait to read part two!

Don’t Do It, Girl
When I heard about the BLP Signs of Love series, I immediately looked for my own zodiac sign. Kareem’s predicament turned me off from the start. There’s just no way to romanticize that situation for me. Then it came out that he’s a June Gemini. I’m a June Gemini that acknowledges what a red flag that is. I understood Sawyer’s attraction to him, but I wanted her to make better decisions. The cliffhanger ending was cute even if it was another misstep from Sawyer.

Wow, this is my first book from this author and the only disappointment for me is the ending!!! To be continued…really? This story had me cracking up and praying all at once. I Love me some Kareem. His mouth is reckless, but he always keeps it 💯.
Sawyer was a bit hot and cold, but who wouldn’t be in a situation like that? Due to her career, she also has a civic duty to uphold the law so I totally understand her position. I can’t wait to get my hands on part two. I will definitely be on the lookout for other titles by K.L. Hall.

Kareem and Sawyer!!
The way that Kareem and Sawyer came together was truly fated due to a hurricane and a bus accident. I truly enjoyed the suspense, chemistry and passion that was in this book. I was anxious about how this book would come about, and Ms. Hall did not disappoint me at all. I'm glad we knew from the beginning that there would be a Part 2 because we do want and need more of Kareem and Sawyer.

This book had me hooked from the very first moment the mysterious stranger appeared. The chemistry between the heroine and the brooding intruder was off-the-charts, and the tension of the storm outside made everything feel deliciously claustrophobic. A perfect mix of danger, desire, and heat.

That damn Kareem! Sawyer and Kareem just did it for me. I enjoyed this one, what else do you and a fine, perfect stranger do in a storm but have good heated fellowship?! I mean realistically, no but booklistically?! All damn weekend! This was straight to the point and enjoyable and it felt like a lot of book and story was still fit into such a short book. So much to love
Oh we out here in a whole hurricane making some sweet memories. Kareem and Sawyer were never meant to be but the few hours that they were forded to be they made that time the best it could be. This was unexpected, interesting and all around a good time. I’m going straight to the second part of this book.
