A helpful guide to basic navigation and routefinding techniques. I particularly appreciated its section on international navigation and the differences between maps... as an American adapting to Ordinance Survey maps in Scotland, that was nice. The section on winter navigation and strategies to use when your expected landmarks are obscured was pretty good too.
