Amir Tarkos is one of the only humans in the Predator Corp, the most feared and respected military force in the Galaxy. With his partner Bria, a bear-like carnivore, Tarkos is on a dangerous and difficult mission to fight the Ulltrians, a race that once extinguished much of the life in the Galaxy.
War has begun, but Bria has been accused of murder and treason and Tarkos is suspected to be an accomplice. Only they can save the Alliance, but first they must escape from prison, raise an army of artificial intelligences, and seize control of the most dangerous weapon the Alliance ever created.
Evolution Commandos: Ice Sky Storm is a stand-alone novel, but it is also the final third of the trilogy Evolution Commandos. In addition, it forms part of the ongoing Predator Space Chronicles, which are told in novels and short stories.

Bria and Tarkos in prison for treason?? Some dark threat lurking around Neelee-ornor? You know the Ulltrians have something good in store for their goal of universe domination. This third volume delivered some epic space battles, AI rallying to the cause, and some absolutely intense secrets :D Can't wait to see what the visit to Earth is going to yield, especially for Tarkos who did not act much on the level with the UN ambassador or something O_o
This is a seriously impressive science fiction series. It just keeps getting better and better. The plot, the characters - Tarkos's declaration at the end of this one was gorgeous. The only flaw I found was when Bria is compared to a tiger - when it was supposedly from her point of view. It's minor in relation to the many challenges she and Tarkos confront while trying to do the right thing in each moment.
If you enjoy actual heroism, this series is for you, too. <3
