This book from the Expert Insight series of Packt Publishing was a total disappointment. The title "Python Illustrated" turned out to be misleading. I anticipated a book that would graphically visualize how the programming language works. Instead I got basic Python concepts explained using ugly cat and dog cartoons in banal banter.
Even thought the book turned out to be no fun to read and useless for a professional data scientist, I completed all the quizzes and exercises the answers to some of which were not correct. Some of the code in the book is not printed with the proper indentation.
I was definitely not the target group for this 'fun way' to experience the Python programming language, but I would also not give it to a third grader who learns coding.
