Null and Void: The Last Kitsune Book 1

Rate this book
"Null and Void is one of those rare books that makes you laugh out loud on one page and gasp in surprise on the next. It’s fast-paced, chaotic in the best way, and filled with characters you can’t help but love, yes, even the drag queen vampire roommate. Tai Jotun’s story starts as a relatable struggle to find her place in the world, but quickly explodes into a whirlwind of magical mayhem, talking cats, mysterious neighbors, and powers she never knew she had."

"Fast-paced, funny, and delightfully chaotic, Null and Void kicks off The Last Kitsune series with a magical identity crisis, a talking cat, and a drag queen vampire roommate—perfect for fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Good Omens." – NewInBooks.com

Tai Jotun has never fit in with the Supernatural community she was raised in. No matter how hard she tried. So, she has settled for a life working as a paramedic. Little does she know that her powers have been suppressed since she was a small child. When those powers are suddenly released, her life is thrown into chaos. There are so many questions and not enough answers.

Why is her cat suddenly talking?
Who exactly is her elderly neighbor Uka?
What are these inugami creatures that are stalking her?
How is she going to hide this tail she can't seem to get rid of?

Join Tai and friends, as they deal with monsters, mishaps, and magic."What is your issue?" I asked as I grabbed the pot off the coffee maker, stopping long enough to drop my work jacket on the nearest chair. Turning to the sink to fill it, I tried to ignore my roommate, who was still mere inches away.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." He said, his voice squeaking a bit.

Now, here is a fact. I know books and television would have you believe that vampires are these alpha predators. All sleek and deadly, and some of them are. Then, there's Nico. Anyone meeting him for the first time would take him for a computer nerd. They would be right. He is tall and thin, has slightly hunched shoulders, and makes a lot of money programming computers. But his true joy comes from being an impersonator slash drag queen. See where I'm going here? It's hard to take a vampire seriously when you’ve seen them made up like Judy Garland and singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."
