4.5⭐️ This little novella grabbed me by the hair, flipped me over, smacked my ass, and told me to take it like a good little slut and I’m not complaining.

This is the true definition of a palate cleanser. It’s nothing but a spicy good time. If you’re looking for spice that hits just right, Riggs is the author you run to.

I absolutely loved the premise, a place where you can explore all your deep, dark desires and fantasies… and we skip the fluff and dive right into the good stuff.

AND IT’S A WHY CHOOSE?!

Say less. This novella delivered exactly what I needed short, filthy, and straight to the point.

So turn off your brain, sit back and enjoy the ride. It was like a shot of espresso straight to the 🐱

The MM scenes in this book were such good fun 😏 and the FMC could put out a burning building the amount she 💦

The degradation was spot on, the MFM scenes were hot as f*ck, and it’s left me feral for Book 3!

I honestly do not want this series to end!

Okay, friends, let me be clear: this novella is not for everyone. It’s erotic, spicy, deeply unhinged, and honestly? A freaking blast. But seriously, check the trigger warnings before diving in because it goes there, and then keeps going.

This is book two in the Deepest Desires series, and we’re back with our favorite exclusive party planners (who apparently throw events and morals out the window). This time, the spotlight’s on Zeke and Xaden, two men who immediately forget how to behave like functional adults the second Alyssa walks in the door. And listen… Alyssa is not here for your nonsense. She is confident, chaotic, and could probably ruin lives with a single look—and I loved every second of it.

The first half of the novella is basically Alyssa playing mind (and body) games with these two, and the second half is them returning the favor with interest. And that ending?? I was laughing, gasping, and maybe slightly unwell—in the best way.

Riggs’ writing had me howling like full-on ugly-laughing at some of the wild, over-the-top, ridiculously hilarious sexual metaphors. It’s fast, filthy, and way more fun than it has any right to be.

If you’re in the mood for something short, spicy, and just the right amount of unhinged—with a trio dynamic that involves some sword-crossing action—this novella is exactly what you need. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Also, it was tough not picturing my bestie Alyssa (Alyssa's actual namesake) getting railed by two really hot men. So thanks for that Riggs.

Fun, short, and spicy novella with low plot and high spice. Second book in the Deepest Desires series.

I liked the grumpy/sunshine dynamic between the two MMCs, Zeke and Xaden, and I loved their banter. There was definitely chemistry between them and the FMC, Alyssa, and the spice between all three of them really was spicing.

Loved seeing Deckard and Cairo from Idée Fixe.

What a fucking fun time. I had to drop into Riggs’ dms halfway through to scream.

I am legitimately exhausted after that, my body was put through the wringer just reading what Alyssa and her boys did. Absolute FILTH in the best, most enjoyable way.

Every time I have the pleasure of ARC reading for Riggs I am always amazed to see how her writing changes. Every single time without fail, her writing style grows and flourishes.

The Deepest Desires series is such a fun time - a spicy little palette cleanser and the vibes are just phenomenal!

If you’re looking for something to spice up your day, this is the book for you!

This was such a spicy, hot, and quick read! The FMC Alyssa, is a fire breather at the party. She ends up enjoying some HOT times with Zeke and Xaden. Do you like edging, degradation and a bit of MM alongside your MFM? Then read this book.

This isn’t your sweet little slow burn…this is messy, obsessive, “you should probably talk to a therapist about that” kinda love. And I ate it all the way up. The MMC’s? Possessive, toxic, and absolutely unhinged in the bedroom (and maybe a few other places). The FMC? Let’s just say she knows EXACTLY what she’s doing and what she wants 😏

This book is pure carnal hunger. You’re not reading it for a story. You’re here to sweat. And Riggs gives you exactly what you’re looking for. These sex scenes are so filthy I felt like I needed to clear my kindle history when I finished.

Smuttiest decision I’ve made all week. 10/10. No notes. Just vibes.

🥵 If you want smut, smutty, and smuttier then this is the book for you! C J writes Erotica and does it very well.
🖤 What I loved - We get to see Cairo again and I do love this character. Unfortunately, you see very little of my favorite couple Cairo and Dekhard! She wanted to focus on the male character, Zeke and Xaden. Now i appreciate she has readers who are panting at the bit to get more of them but this book is small and she could have added a sticky scene just to appease everyone. I also love Alyssa. She is dark and twisted and you will see stuff that you don’t see everywhere.
🖤 What I didn’t like - there were a few grammar mistakes. Once you are through your alpha, beta and arc readers then these minor mistakes should have been corrected. However the reason for my four stars is right around 2/3 of the way through there was added verbiage that almost made me stop reading. This is an 18+ book and I am not a teenager. The way Alyssa talks sometimes seemed like a school girl crush. Alyssa is a grown woman who has been around the block a multitude of times.
🖤 Hopefully the book will be edited to catch the errors. Even with these it is definitely a must read. I will continue to read everything C. J. writes. She is in my top five of erotica authors.

Idée Fixe had my heart, but Amour Fou stole my soul. Xaden and Zeke are mine end of story. Riggs does not disappoint with her Deepest Desire series. I wanted this book so badly, and let me tell you, it did not let me down. No ma’am. I devoured it like a sweet summer peach.

But remember, Riggs has a dark side and so do her books. So check those triggers before they check you.

Alyssa, the fire-breathing queen that she is, knows what she wants and how to get it… well, mostly. Xaden? He’s like a toddler, says exactly what he wants, no filter and I LOVE IT. What happens between him and a certain someone? Chef’s kiss. But you'll have to read the book to find out.

And then there’s Zeke. Calm. Quiet. But don’t let that exterior fool you underneath it all is a dom daddy who will tie you up without hesitation.

Okay, okay, I’ve said enough. If I go on any longer, I risk spoiling the book. And newsflash: we don’t do spoilers here.

Yes! Absolutely yes! I fell in love with this series after reading Idee Fixe, and this book confirmed that I am obsessed with the Darkest Desires series! This is some depraved and spicy stuff, like clutch your pearls depraved. Xaden and Zeke don't play around, and Alyssa learned that the hard way. But she definitely had the time of her life learning that lesson. This was a quick read, but it packs a punch and leaves you wanting more. I am already looking forward to the next book in this series. C.J Riggs is amazing at writing spicy scenes, and leaving your jaw on the floor. This was some expert level spice right here! Do yourself a favor and read this book! You will not be disappointed!

I also love how we still got Deckard and Cairo throughout!

Sooo good!! Honestly for a palette cleanser this is perfect!

Easy to follow plot with HIGH spice… the MM scene had me in a chokehold… goddamn 🥵🥵

But a novella there to make you sweat and feel needy for what Alyssa is being subjected to by Zeke and Xaden… I’d give anything to be in her position… wait who said that? 👀

This was a great follow on from Idee Fixe for sure… can’t wait for more 😍
