Framed for crimes she didn’t commit against Heaven, Michaela must prove her innocence. But the line between right and wrong is ever shifting, and Michaela, disgraced and wingless, discovers the holy angels have their own plan for Heaven, and it is one that may prove to be the End of the Days.

The Lost One: A group of rogue angels controlling Heaven have turned their attention to the End of Days, and they won’t rest until they obtain the tools of Earth's final destruction: the Seven Seals. But Archangel Michaela knows the secret about the seals, and she'll fight to the death to protect them. Even amidst the devastation on Earth, Michaela struggles with her love for Gabriel, a recently fallen angel.

The Only One: In the final installment of the End of Days series, a heavenly civil war breaks out amongst the angels, and the stakes are higher than ever before. It’s the war Michaela wanted, but she’s realizing it might not be the one she’s meant to fight. What is mercy and sacrifice in the face of tyranny and madness? It’s a lesson Michaela might not live long enough to fully understand.

DNF

I had thought that I was really going to like this story, however, the reality is not so. The blurb did not live up to the promise and I just couldn't get into this story. I'm sure others will differ in their opinions.

There was no sparkle for me, no magic and the story didn't draw me in, which is what I wait for.

Heaven may be at risk, but one Angel will save us all......

Michaela in heaven's general. Her job is to protect earth, humans and heaven. She never suspected that some of the Archangels would go rouge and overthrow the very heaven they were designed to guard. Gabriel is her second, and the second Angel created in heaven. Lucifer is in hell, after Michaels ripped his wings off and cast him out.

Others did not agree with het, and she finds jetsetter object of deceit and frame. Her wings are ripped off and heaven is led to believe she fell as a fallen and allowed Lucifer to try to invade heaven. She is rescued by a human named Clark. Together, they learn how to help the Nephilim and the descendants of Enoch. Clark is a descendant, but he never got in and doesn't really know why.

This series is fascinating. I loved the characters, especially the Angels and Nephilim. Loki is the Angel of Death and plays an important part in aiding Michaela. Follow this series from beginning to end to visualize how it could be. It's always a possibility.

Read on my friends.

If you're expecting a war between heaven and hell in the religious sense then you'll be disappointed. God isn't even mentioned at all and the Archangel Michaela is in charge. She seems very scattered and easily manipulated for someone you'd expect to be damn near invincible.
It's hard to become engaged with these angels when there doesn't appear to be much about them that's angelic. They're more like judge, jury and executioner with factions subservient to other groups with jealousy, madness and megalomania creating dissent throughout heaven.
I kept wondering why anyone would blindly follow Abel while he's torturing and mutilating any angel that doesn't slavishly follow him. Lucifer seems pretty tame for ... well, Lucifer.
I didn't believe the romance between Gabriel and Michaela for one second. A lot of the situations didn't make much sense and by the third book I was questioning as to why I was still reading.
It's muddled and murky and sometimes downright confusing.
The premise was interesting but the execution fell away rapidly.

For me Meg Collett books are a guilty pleasure. The ideas behind the books are amazing, the carry-through is not quite as good. But they are good enough. Lots of fairly graphic sex, violence, and cursing. The characters are very good. I was a bit frustrated by lots of typos in the copy I read. Also, the books are not standalone - you don't get any kind of conclusion until the third book. The first two end with total cliffhangers.

In this book various groups of angels, part angels, and humans are involved in a war for heaven, earth and hell. The underlying message of learning to accept ones self and others; and forgiveness of ones self and others is well delivered.

My biggest frustration with this series is - it's all about angels - but where is God in all of this mess? That question just kept me from enjoying the books as much as I might have.

Good read

Wasn’t quite what I expected but liked it so much I downloaded the box set sequel.
Well written. Couple of errors in proof reading but didn’t detract from enjoyment.
Main characters well written.
Need to read it with good imagination and remember that it is fiction.

Book 1
I absolutely love and recommend this book to everyone!!!!
From the first paragraph, I was in love. Meg painted the absolute most amazing picture of Heaven right off the bat, and she continues to paint pictures throughout the entire book. Everything is so descriptive. It is so easy to imagine that you are actually watching everything take place. From Michaela's ghostly image to her human-like form; you are witnessing her change.
The non-stop action from the start and all the way to the end is just crazy good. Meg's ability to keep the action flowing throughout the entire read, until now, has been non-existent in any of the hundred's of books I have read. Yes, there are some books that are action packed, but nothing compares to The Hunted Once. She is truly gifted!!!!!!
The Hunted One is so detailed that it makes your imagination run in overdrive as every scene is played out right in front of you.

Book 2
This chick has got skill!!!!
The Lost One is so freakin' amazing. I am really having a hard time putting into words how I feel about this book! I just cant imagine anything coming close to clearly defining just how perfect this book is! Meg has totally blown me away, yet again, with book 2 of the End of Days series. (This is book 2, be sure to read The Hunted One first, you wont be disappointed.)
I have fallen in love with Clark and Michaela and cant get enough! I absolutely adore this series so far. I waited several months to get my hands on this book and let me tell you it was torture but OH SO WORTH the wait! Now I am going to go crazy all over again waiting for book 3. I know if you read books 1 and 2, you will also be going nuts right beside me dying for book 3! Yes it is that good!

Thank you Meg for another PERFECT masterpiece! I love the creativity you have in your head!!!!

Book 3
To rate with five stars is just simply NOT enough to properly award the beautiful story that Meg Collett has shared with us. So for the first time ever, I am awarding it my new ‘so perfect I rated it twice’ rating of TEN stars. If ever a book deserved it, this would be it. I fell in love with Meg’s work from the start of this series.
The Only One is book 3 (and the end) of the End of Days series. I was completely and utterly floored throughout this book. I laughed so loud in public people thought I was crazy….which of course led me to explaining my circumstances and writing down the information for a few that thought they might be interested in reading it as well. But I also cried so hard it hurt. The heartache and sadness radiates through the last several chapters. I thought I would be left missing a piece of my heart as well, but in the end, Meg took me by surprise and did the unthinkable! And the heartache and sadness was swept away, leaving only a tiny scar that will be cherished and reopened again and again.

I cannot wait to read the series over again. And I will certainly be suggesting it to everyone I know.

It is bittersweet that the series has come to an end, but it is a series of total perfection!!! I don’t know what the future holds for her books, but I know I will be first in line!

The Hunted One
Lucifer is trying to take over not only earth but heaven as well. He has found allies in heaven that has thrown out the arch angels and their general Michaela has lost her wings and thrown down to earth. "It was the end of the world, but it was taking Heaven and Hell with it." With the Arch Angels in hiding and Gabe in hell, Michaela has to find a friend on earth and does in Clark. Clark is a descendant of Enoch and was born into the duty of protecting angels on earth. This is a great story and I can't wait to read the next book. Collett, does a wonderful in describing the scenes and the emotional turmoil within the characters. This book is a great read for any age.

The Lost One
"I deliver a message to the fallen Archangel Michaela. Heaven demands the Seven Seals. You, Michaela, will turn them over immediately. If you wait," the Watcher paused and smiled cruelly, "we will unleash plagues of mass devastation on the Earth." Right where the first first book, The Hunted One, left off we pick up with, The Lost One. The aether has control of heaven and want to call on the end of days. Michaela believes the end of days will not only destroy earth, but heaven and hell with it. She finds help in the last places she ever expects to find it. This is such an original story and it was so much fun to read. I just couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the next installment. It does have some adult content and sexual situations.

The Only One
I just love this series! I thought the characters were well researched and planed out. This series grabbed me right from the start. The world Collett created for us is so filled with backstory, myth, and legend it was a joy to read. The third installment of The Only One did not disapoint. It was action filled with drama and mystery. The love story was so touching and sexy it had me swooning. Michaela is the General of Hevaen and needs to protect everyone from the Aether who have lost their way. The Aether reminded me of the proverb, The road to hell is paved with good intentions. It's Michaela's and the other Archangel's duty to put it right.

The relationship between Michaela and Clark had to be my favorite relationship in the series. He turned away from his birthright, but his duty was always ingrained in him. He rescued and protected Michaela in the first book. The relationship grew in the second book as Michaela became stronger and Clark learned more about his powers. The third book just strengthened their friendship even more. They may have their disagreements and their own baggege to deal with, but they know they can lean on each other. They can depend on each other no matter what has happened or what is about to happen. The love they share between them is so strong and touching.

Collett is one of my one click authors. I can't wait to see her next project!

A Surprising View of Heaven and Angels...

There have been many stories about the war in Heaven between the Archangels and the Fallen. But this was a story that humanized both. It showed that even Angels aren't perfect. That Heaven could be populated with those whose motives aren't entirely pure. There maybe those who might be offended by that concept. But remember this is a work of fiction. Well thought out and plotted. It was also a love story. The passionate love between two angels. The love of friendship. Love between a father and son. Love between a mother and son. The love of angels for humanity. This story was about taking a stand for what's right. Even when it goes horribly wrong. This trilogy was also about becoming self aware and about forgiveness finally leading to redemption. I loved this trilogy and would recommend it to any who loves a good read. I'm looking forward to seeing what Meg Collet comes up with next.

This amazing series follows Archangel Michaela, as shes tossed out of Heaven, for something that wasnt her fault, and having her wings ripped from her back. Now on earth, she has to figure out a way to save not only Earth and humanity, but also Heaven. With the help of Clark and some human, a few Archangels, that still believe in her, and Loki, she sets out to do just that!!

I read this series before it was in this beautiful set, each book outdoes the previous one. Its action packed, with surprises at every turn!! A MUST READ!!

Different and intriguing

Picked this up as an Amazon freebie. Started reading Friday night and haven't been able to put this series down until I reached the end of book 3.

I have read so many other stories based on End of Days and can saw that out of them all this series is my favorite.

Well down with well developed and three dimensional characters that were interesting to read and get to know.

I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a character driven story with an interesting and well developed plot.

Unlike Supernatural I actually feel sorry for most of these angels. Esp. for Michaela. That is one tough angel. Her relationship with Clark reminded me of Scully and Mulder. They became friends and it was pleasantly surprising how useful the writer made Clark to the narrative. I thought the humans would be totally outclassed by the even the lesser angels but Clark was a great asset to have along with the Apocalypse. Will check out other books!

wonderful finish!

This series is truly amazing. I enjoyed each book more than the last, and was truly sad to see it end.
I am so very excited about Clark getting his own series!
There were times in reading this that I really had to put it down and walk away for a few minutes. It was so intense at points! This whole series was very well written and moved very quickly, but the story never seemed rushed.
I will be reading more of her works without a doubt!

I was drawn into the End of Days trilogy, intrigued by the plot. Which turned out to be an awesome storyline, with an interesting group of characters. I couldn't wait to reach the end, to see how things turned out. And I was so excited to see there's a spin off series. I'll be diving into that one very soon!

Twists, turns, angels, demons, humans, & monsters... So many elements to the trilogy, but they don't cause conflict with the plot.
