Ana has always realized that she was different from other girls because she can see and speak with ghosts, but it's when she realizes she's also attracted to women that she begins to be a little afraid. Her biggest fears about being gay aren't that she finds women desirable, but how her mother will react to the revelation. And how on earth is she supposed to learn to talk to girls! An erotic encounter with a beautiful ghost may just help Ana put all her fears to rest and help her become the woman she is meant to be.
I did enjoy this book for the most part. The characters were easy to like and to get involved in their problems and see if they would find a solution. Sex isn't a big part of the storyline and that was nice to see. The book seemed more about the main character trying to find herself and to decide which road her life should take. Ana could see and talk to ghosts and that was one part I really took too. Ana didn't force herself onto these ghosts, for the most part she watched them but she did take a liking to two different ghosts. The first one was a little girl whose name was Leotie. She knew she was dead but some ghosts did not. Ana and Leotie became best friends. But Ana also was curious about a beautiful young woman ghost who didn't talk and walked by the tracks. Leotie told Ana that was Elise. Now Elise and Ana did meet and was talking but in my opinion they went from talking to sex pretty quickly. There seemed to be something missing in the time leading up to that scene but otherwise I did enjoy the story. The writing was smooth and was easy to follow. This author has talent and she is one that should be watched because I see great things in her future.
