Summary-
In this addition of LC + The Critter Kids, Gabby and the kids end up making a club for elementary school detectives. This starts off harmless enough, until they receive secret encrypted letters! The letters make them start an investigation that ends up being a silly misunderstanding. The kids end off having enjoyed the mystery.

Review-
I personally really enjoyed this one! Even though it's a children's chapter book, I was still unable to predict any of the twists and turns that they made. I was hooked into the small 60 or so paged book. It left for an amazing experience towards the end. The artwork is as expected from a Mercer Mayer's book, little details and sweet. I would 100% recommend this one to someone who loves mystery, even if it is a short one!

It was good, it was a bit hard to crack the codes. It was funny about who cracked the codes.-- 5th Grade student from Ohio

I love Mercer Mayer. I loved Little Critter when he was little and I love him now as he goes by L.C. This was a great book. It'd be excellent for third or fourth graders. It's a nice little mystery that functions as a beginner's chapter book. Awesome read.
