A story that touched my heart.

In her mid-forties, Araire wishes for love, for marriage, and for her own happy ending. But the man she is dating is unwilling to commit unless she has a child for him.

At the fertility centre, she meets Chibuike, a doctor and family man. Their lives become intertwined and what follows is friendship, betrayal of trust, and the struggle to mend broken hearts.

Mobolaji did a great job with the story, Finding Solace.

I'll say this story for one touched me and it's a replica of how God himself uses mistakes and circumstances to guide us to our desired end. I particularly learnt lots of lessons from the marriage portrayed in this book.

I enjoyed the story.

Finding Solace tells the story of a slightly older, and successful woman seeking love. I enjoyed this book the first time I read it as an arc and even more the second time.

I loved that it tackled some serious issues of the sort of deceit that happens in our society both from Araire's and Chibuike's partners.

I enjoyed this book!

The plot is engaging and heartfelt, with a strong emotional core that draws the reader in. Araire, the protagonist, is beautifully written, with authentic struggles and growth. Chibuike, a complex and compelling figure, adds depth to her journey, while Ezinne, a striking antagonist, creates tension and complexity.
The writing style is elegant, poetic, and immersive, with vivid descriptions and natural dialogue. The emotional depth of the story is striking, capturing emotions in a raw and real way. The relationships between characters are nuanced, particularly the bond between Araire and Chibuike.
My favorite aspect of the book is its ability to balance tension, quiet reflection, and moments of joy, making the narrative engaging and unforgettable. Overall, Finding Solace is a deeply touching and beautifully written novel that leaves a lasting impact.
