My mother gave this book to me after my two kids were born and I wanted to sew them stuff. She had bought it way back in 1965. It is just an excellent book - I highly recommend it to those who like to sew. In the past ten years, I've been (very happily) occupied with my career, but sewing is - for me - a great way to try keeping the brain cells functional by learning how to sew (again). And this time to try doing it right. So that I can sew myself a great cosplay costume or three, you know... like River Song, or some neat Victorian Steampunk thing. Well, I can try at least... :-)

Thanks mom. :-)
