Brigid, recently widowed, escapes from the predictability of Wimbledon to the wilds of Northumberland. However, the tranquillity is shattered when Simon, her friends' prodigal son, arrives. Si has a belief in paganism and his supernatural powers, and Brigid is drawn into an alien Celtic landscape.
Loved it! Think I might keep it on my bookshelf for a while. Just about to read the Philosophers house by the same author which I noticed was on my TBR pile.
