Born and raised in the Hoosier heartland, Shann primarily makes his home on the coasts. He feels blessed to be alive at a time when technology has now given artists the freedom to express themselves on a mass level without having to sacrifice creativity and ambition.
If he can produce an image or story that can evoke an emotion, preferably a chuckle, then Shann has considered his work successful.
This is a nice little story about belonging and being different but making these differences work to your advantage. I read the story to my son and we enjoyed it, including the quirky illustrations. If the author reads this review, please update the typo of climed to climbed. If not I would have given this five stars.
This is a cute story about a unique snail with a small shell. Like many of these kids tales, it turns out the small shell is a good thing. One criticism is I read this on kindle and the pictures and text were very small which made it harder to read.
