Wicked Love is such an amazing, fun, happy and loving Christmas novella. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I fell absolutely madly in love with Joe and Grace.

The book starts with Joe being in a bar and seeing a drunk girl, Isla, dancing on top of the bar. She is about to fall and he catches her. Instant fireworks sizzle between the two of them and they have a great night together.
When Joe wakes up she is already gone.

Joe's father wants him to meet new stepsister. He already dislikes his fathers new girlfriend and isn't looking forward to meeting her. But once he does he is flabbergasted. Isla isn't Isla but Grace. He is so angry at her. Especially when he realizes she is 17 and not almost 19.
The tension is still there. But he pushes her away as hard as he can.

Fast forward a few weeks later. Joe and Clarissa, Grace's mother, are getting married. And when Joe finds out how terribly her mother verbally abuses her daughter he is shocked and feels compassion for her. They decide to leave together so Grace can catch her breath.

And that is how they end up in Mistletoe Creek. My lord! The christmas vibes are through the roof and I loved every moment they spent together there.
I also admire how much respect they shared for one another. And how Joe respected her age. This book isn't just about a flaming passion. It's about friendship, respect and supporting each other. It's about having each other's back and growing together.

It was short, sweet and brilliant. 5 huge stars from me for this wonderful novella! Absolutely loved it.

Wonderful, beautiful story! This book packs emotional punches left and right. Grace’s inner strength is nothing short of admirable in all ways. I know many women who wouldn’t have the outlook she does and would have turned absolutely destructive if in Grace’s shoes.

Joe really hurt my heart in the beginning, but when he drops everything, no questions asked, to help in her time of desperation, that’s when I knew he was an alright kind of guy. And the more her happiness meant the world to him, the more I knew he’d eventually succumb to the pull they had always had.

And I want to do a huge shout out to Joe’s dad, for being a father figure to Grace, and always seeming to be the guiding light for everyone. The step-sibling but wasn’t that huge, other than them mentioning how it would be wrong because their parents just got married, but in this situation, they met before they knew. I saw no harm in that aspect of this story.

Joe and Grace have an interesting start to their relationship. After spending one hot night together, they presume they won't see each other anymore. But life has a bad sense of humor in store for them. Joe has set hard boundaries for them but when she needs to escape and find some peace, he's there to help her out.

Emmanuelle Snow has the ability to lure me in every time I pick up one of her books and this one starts a bit rocky for me but I'm not sure why I was worried there for a second because this story is a tale of how sometimes all we need is to be accepted and valued and it was a pleasure seeing these two finding happiness within themselves and in each other.

Cute Christmas Novella

Joe met a woman at a bar and had one night with her. The next day she was gone. What he didn’t except is for me to be his fathers new girlfriend daughter who is also 17.

This is a cute novella. Other then the one night stand scene there is no explicit smut between the two main characters while the FMC is under 18. This book really just shows their relationship grow without becoming physical.

This is really just a sweet holiday romance and a great cleanser between books.

I wasn't sure about this topic when I received the book...stepsiblings can be messy and this had an added twist. But I should never discount Emmanuelle Snow's ability to write difficult topics beautifully. From the first meeting, it's obvious there is something drawing Joe and Grace together. Both are broken individuals but are wonderfully written. Grace's mother is a nasty piece of work and I'm not quite sure what Philip sees in her.

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

This is book four in The Mistletoe Creek series and it is Joe and Grace’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. When Joe is in a bar he sees a drunken girl dancing on the top of the bar but when she falls it is Joe that catches her and with there undeniably attractive and chemistry they end up spending the night together only for her to disappear in the morning after giving Joe a false name as they didn’t think that they would ever see each other again. They meet again when Joe’s father wants to introduce his girlfriend’s daughter so you can imagine the shock when it turns out to be Grace which leaves Joe angry that she lied to him so he keeps his distance from her. When Joe realised that things are not what they seem between Grace and her mother he decides to take Grace away from the situation and also go with her and that is how they end up in Mistletoe Creek so that they can both have some time away. Joe and Grace end up having a great friendship and being there to support each other but in the background there feelings and attraction just keeps getting stronger but to them it is more about just understanding how each other feels and connecting as they go along on this journey. Wow the description of Mistletoe Creek felt so real as if you were there living through all the experiences and I absolutely loved Joe and Grace because even through all of life’s ups and downs and everything that they had been through they were still perfect for each other and together. This book was written with so much care and compassion on a very difficult subject along with making you feel so many emotions and I definitely recommend that you read this book and you will not be disappointed.

Emmanuelle Snow's "Wicked Love" is a spellbinding tale that weaves the forbidden stepbrother trope into the enchanting tapestry of a Christmas season.
The fact that you couldn't put the book down shows how engaging it is. The forbidden romance mixed with the small-town atmosphere makes you want to know what happens next. Emmanuelle Snow's writing is so good that you feel like you're part of the story, experiencing the characters' secrets and emotions.

The chemistry between Joe and Grace is wickedly perfect. Emmanuelle Snow masterfully develops their relationship, making it both believable and relatable. Readers will find themselves emotionally invested in the couple's journey, rooting for them as they navigate the complexities of love. One commendable aspect of "Wicked Love" is its subtle yet impactful exploration of mental health. Snow skillfully integrates this theme into the storyline, adding layers of depth and authenticity to the characters' experiences. It's not just about the romance but also the ebb and flow of emotions that Joe and Grace bring to the story. Their connection feels real, and you find yourself emotionally invested in their journey.

Simply put, "Wicked Love" is a four-star read because it combines love, secrets, and small-town charm. The forbidden romance in the snowy setting makes it a cosy and intriguing story. It's a great reminder that love can find its way even in the most unexpected places, like a small town.

This is a coming of age retelling of Hansel and Gretel. Grace, the FMC, is struggling with family issues and decides the runaway from home. Joe, the MMC and her stepbrother, can’t stand her because of things that happened between them I can’t reveal without spoiling the story. When he notices Grace in tears and running away, he takes matter in his own hands and decides to leave with her.
They end up in this perfect small town in the mountains. They rent a house that’s just as magical as the town and guess what? It looks like a gingerbread house.
They are both going through some personal issues and must learn to live together and help each other overcome their own struggles.
This book is everything you want in a retelling and a stepbrother romance.

Tropes:
- stepbrother
- enemies to lovers
- small town
- retelling
- vacation
- he falls first
- family secrets
- found family
- fashion designer x Broadway pianist
- age gap
- curvy heroine
- body image issues

As usual, Emmanuelle Snow delivers a poignant and emotional love story between two people who seem so real it’s hard to believe it’s just fiction.
I love the emotional scars, the deal they’ve been dealt, the love and the trust they share.

Highly recommend

When your fave author joins a group to re-write steamy fairytales… I was so ready for the Mistletoe Creek series, and Emmanuelle Snow’s contribution of an updated Hansel and Gretel version!

Joe and Grace meet at his smalltown bar when he heads home one day, summoned by his father. They have a steamy night and plan to never see each other again. The next day his father introduces him to his new fiancée and her daughter… 17 year old Grace! As the pair has to deal with the new reality of being step siblings and Joe has to come to terms with her being underage, Grace has to continue living with her mother’s extreme criticism and body shaming.

When Grace finally snaps and runs, Joe goes with her and they land in Mistletoe Creek, a Christmas town where they fall in love with everything. But, being a Hansel and Gretel retelling, the wicked witch and gingerbread house do,play their roles!

I enjoyed this one a lot - has Emmanuelle’s expected great touch to it. It wasn’t until the bonus chapter that it became extra - with all of the crossover characters mentioned (to her other stories), and where I’d bump up the rating if it would have been included in the original book. I certainly recommend everyone add this to their holiday TBR, and I look forward to picking up the rest of this series!

I received an advance copy from the author collective, and this is my honest feedback.

This was an emotional and heartfelt read, (part of the Mistletoe Creek Series) just like you would expect from Emmanuelle. Joe and Grace are characters that you can relate to as they deal with a moral dilemma, family drama and for Grace, having to deal with a mom who has drastically unrealistic expectations of her, all while unexpectedly falling in love. These two really hurt my heart as they try to navigate their complicated relationship.

Grace was just like her name, as she dealt with her toxic mom, and at the same time, trying not to lose her sense of self with every visit and every conversation she had with her. Joe was amazing!
I was drawn to his strength and support for Grace, and never letting her doubt that her beauty was both on the inside and the outside.

When a family blowout during the wedding of Joe's dad to Grace's mom sends them on a journey to Mistletoe Creek, what follows is this wonderful love story between two characters who started out as strangers in a one night stand and end up as soulmates. This book had a touch of spice but it was mostly the emotional journey of these two characters that really draws you in.

Step-siblings is not a trope that I usually read so I was a bit apprehensive when I started this, thrown in with a retelling (which I do love) of Hansel and Gretel (wasn't sure how that was going to play out). I should have known better! I know Emmanuelle's writing style and she knocked it out of the park in this one!

What to expect:
Age gap
Step siblings
Taboo
Hansel and Gretel retelling
Christmas novella
Emotional/ hard topics

Wicked Love is an emotional Christmas novella that brings together two people who are ment to be despite an age gap and the fact they are step siblings. Grace may be 17 years old but has grown up fast due to her rocky relationship with her mother. She may love her body but her mother does everything in her power to make her feel bad about every bite she takes. Joe tried to stay away because he knows he can't fool around with someone who is underage but when he has to get her away from her mother they end up getting to know eachother as friends. I love the town of Mistletoe Creek. All of the authors have done a great job of creating a wonderful beautiful place you can't help but want to visit. If you like age gap books with lots of chemistry while still having emotional moments this book is for you!

I received an advanced review copy for free, and I'm leaving this review voluntarily.

This was really sweet but also emotional story.

Grace and Joe meet in a bar and they spend passionate night together. Next day Joe learns that Grace is his soon-to-be stepsister and things get really messy and complicated.

Grace’s mother is really toxic and we get to see how Grace has to deal with feelings like not being enough, loved and accepted for who she is. And this is not healthy. I don’t understand how her mother could be like this.

Joe loves Grace for who she is and it really helps her, she has time to heal thanks to their escape to Mistletoe Creek.

Phil was great father to Joe and amazing stepfather to Grace. He took her side and protect her from her own mother. I just don’t understand how he could marry this horrible person who shouldn’t be and doesn’t deserve to be a mother.

This is just perfect winter, Christmas read for night in with hot chocolate and Christmas songs.

Huge thank you to Emmanuelle for ARC in exchange for honest review

Wicked Love by Emmanuelle Snow is the fourth book in the multi-author Mistletoe Creek series. All books are standalone.

Wicked Love tells the story of Joe and Grace who have a chance meeting before their true introduction as step siblings. They shared an amazing night before they found out Joe's dad and Grace's mother were engaged.

Grace can do no right in her mother's eyes and can't take any more criticism at the wedding of her mother and Joe's dad. Joe realizes what is happening and puts her in the car. They drive and drive and end up in Mistletoe Creek, where they have to share a room. While staying in the magical town, they realize they can't fight what they feel. Their relationship helps to mend the one between mother and daughter too.

This is an all around, feel good read! I loved hearing Joe's story after being introduced to him in Snowbound. Emmanuelle's books are always amazing and this one doesn't disappoint!

“Joe, you make me sad. Super sad. S.A.D. And happy too. Like you are the sun in my sky. But also, verrrry sad when you push me away.”

Wicked Love by Emmanuelle Snow is a steamy, taboo, holiday romance. Wicked Love is part of the Mistletoe Creek collection featuring holiday love stories by eleven of your favorite romance authors! With a steamy start, all the heart of her rock star romance books, and a taboo twist, Wicked Love is a bit of a departure for Emmanuelle Snow and a total delight. Joe and Grace’s story is one of my favorite second-chance premises; two strangers meet in a bar, and fall into instant-lust, but a twist of fate tears them apart. What starts as a lie becomes a love neither expected. Wicked Love is an emotional, spicy, road-trip, one-bed, forbidden romance Hansel and Gretel retelling. From a gritty, dive bar to a magical Christmas town, Emmanuelle sends readers on a lovely, wild ride.

- Wicked Love is one of the stories written in a shared universe where multiple authors write a story, and this follows the beautiful and emotional story of Joe and Grace that starts in an unexpected way and is like a Hansel and Gretel retelling with a forbidden twist.

- Emmanuelle Snow is the goddess of spice and emotions.

- And you are in for a treat if you love forbidden romances, age-gap romances, one-bed tropes, close proximity, road trips, stepsibling romances, Christmas-y town settings, and loads and loads of sexual tension.

- And the book starts off spicey and that level of spice is well maintained, or I should say gets steamier throughout the book that it is so good.

- Gosh I loved the tension that was brewing. The banter, the slips in the restraint of not trying to jump each other's bones, and the dirty talking oh my word had ME squirming.

- The style of writing is so immersive that I felt I was living the story in a Hallmark movie. I wish I could witness the magic of Mistletoe Creek just as amazingly as Snow has described it.

- I loved the dedication of the book "You are never too old to believe in fairytales and magic".

- I loved that this is a crossover with characters from the Snowbound duet. (Joe is Anderson's roommate) I was also thrilled to see Anderson pop up here and there too with hints of scenes that are to happen in Snowbound Part 2.

- This was definitely fast-paced and a book that you could read in one sitting. I was hooked from the very beginning, and I think this is the first book I read that is not in the Carter Hills universe even though there is a crossover of characters.

- You should check out trigger warnings. And I have to say that I couldn't stand Grace's cruel mother who body shames and mistreats her OWN daughter due to being curvy and not slim and lean like her. Like in all the scenes that this happened, I was just swearing under my breath.

- But I loved how Grace bounced back from all this negativity and how loving caring and supportive Joe was throughout all this.

- I loved how this story flowed. I kept falling in love with the characters as they fell in love. I just loved the HEA as well.

- The joy and the smile that tugs on the end of my lips are so pure because this book fills my heart. I want more of Joe and Grace and Mistletoe Creek.

- I do not think anyway I write this review would do justice to this book. I loved it soo soo much.

Joe and Grace’s story is one that is full of emotion that will break your heart while mending it the next. When Joe goes back to his hometown and ends up at a bar with a name that really sums up the atmosphere there the last thing he expects is to see this incredibly beautiful woman that captivates him. A wild night together and they can’t stop thinking of each other even though they both thought it was a one time thing then the twists start coming. My heart broke for Grace and all the cruelty she endures from her mother then when Joe is slapped with the reality of their situation he adds to it, it hurt even more. Once Grace took all she could she knew she couldn’t stay around any longer, but it was Joe that stepped up to defend her and take her away. The more time they spend together they fight their attraction for many reasons, but fate has a lot of other plans for them and being in Mistletoe Creek really amplifies the tension for them. For a short story it really packs the emotional punch that the author’s other books are known for and it hits you right in the heart while having you fall in love with the characters.

Joe and Grace meet when they are both going through a rough time, the sparks fly and they have a very memorable night together. In the morning the girl he’s fallen for disappears but low and behold they meet again but she’s not who she said she was. Grace’s childhood is a heartbreaking story, put down all her life by the one person who’s supposed to love you unconditionally. After one too many insults Grace runs away but Joe goes with her. Their so called forbidden love journey is full of joy, laughter, sadness and so beautiful that you can’t help rooting for them, the bonus book was the sweet ending they deserved. Grace was such a special and strong FMC and Joe? Joe was a darling, loved him. Amazing arc.

Grace has been moved across the country from everything she has known. She goes to the local bar, and hooks up with a stranger, one that she cannot get out of her mind. It is not long before she finds out who he is, the son of the man her mother is marrying, her soon to be stepbrother. He is not happy when he finds out she is only seventeen.

Joe really harsh with Grace, when he finds out her age, he could go to jail. Joe fights his feelings for Grace, until he finds out how her mother treats her. When the parents get married, they go on a road trip, he wants to make her happy. The pair wind up in Mistletoe Creek and spend time there leading up to her eighteenth birthday.

Joe is just what Grace needs after the treatment she has had at the hands of her mother.

I really hate to write negative reviews but I didn't enjoy this one overall. There's another book in this series with a similar trope and I think it does it so much better. I'm not sure if it's the writer's personal style or poor editing, but there were many places that it seemed rushed, yet in others, it dragged a little. I preferred the story once the characters actually reached Mistletoe Creek but beforehand, they both were on the obnoxious side. I also don't care to read about a 17 yr old heroine. Perhaps girls of that age should be reserved as heroines for young adult fiction instead of adult romance? Not great, I'm sorry.

WOW! wicked mother, Clarissa, for Grace for darn sure - what a mean spiteful miserable woman, but with Joe at her side, Grace found her backbone, and finally broke free.
The story of Grace and Joe meeting, was cute and spicy; but the real meeting the next day, unknowing who each other really was, was comical, although Joe was terribly mean about it.
The web they were weaving, in order, the find their way in life, was fun - and of course, the town of Mistletoe Creek was so festive, the people so friendly and inviting, led to them forgetting their problems for a time; until mommy dearest shows up, and tragedy strikes.

Really enjoyed this little gift!

Man, this book got me all in my feels! I just felt the punches to my heart throughout this book!

Grace really has a hard time. I seriously wanted to throat punch her mother. I loved how she was able to let go, but I hated that she had to lie to do so. Once she got away from her mother, she truly blossomed. I absolutely loved Joe's Dad! He was so good for the family!

Joe...I didn't know how to take him. One second, I liked him. The next, I didn't. BUT once he turned on the swoon... my heart just could not take it! He was so good for Grace, and I loved all the positive affirmations!

I've really enjoyed the Mistletoe Creek series! I will continue to go back and read again!

I was expecting a spicy romance but instead got an emotional and beautiful story with some sprinkles of spice. That is something that author, Emmanuelle does do very well is emotional stories. So glad that Joe was there for Grace. Due to the strained relationship, she was dealing with her mom, she definitely portrayed her seventeen-year-old self.

Joe picked up on Grace's emotional cues very well. So, he knew just what she needed with each situation. When to give her space and when she needed him to hold her. I enjoyed seeing these two together and glad that they got an HEA.

I really liked it. I love the tropes in the book. I didnt like the original lie especially since it could have consequences but I love that they got past it. The twist was actually a suprise! Sometimes it's predictable but it wasn't this time. I loved the side characters and can't wait to read more since they obviously have books. I can relate a little bit to the mfc but not to the same extent so it made it real in ways for me.

Since this is my first book by Emmannuelle Snow, I didn’t exactly know what to expect. But it’s great! This story has a lot more depth than I initially thought it would have. A one night stand turns out to become so much more.
I really loved how the relationship of Joe and Grace developed. She’s such a brave girl and he was such a great support to her, with every decision she had to make and every step they took together.

A great holiday read!

Another amazing book by this author! The characters were so fun and exciting to read. Joe and Grace’s “hate” bickering was so fun to read and I loved hating on Grace’s mother whenever she appeared. Joe and Grace’s bond is just so amazing that I wish I could have one like theirs. And the storyline was absolutely amazing, it feels like I read the book in 5 minutes, not 4 hours 😂. All in all, would recommend this to those who like Christmas romance books🎄

A heartwarming age gap novella that was sweet, with a little drama thrown in to keep you on your Christmas toes, Emmanuelle Snow gave us two wonderful characters in Joe and Grace and they made a wonderful addition to Mistletoe Creek. A one-night stand, and a shock meeting again weeks later make this novella seem more like a full-length story as this author has poured so much into the book, from awful stepmother, to misunderstanding all play out beautifully alongside this wonderful story.

Grace and Joe had 1 night at Dicks Hole. That one night was not enough, but sometimes the universe says something different. Grace's mom and Joe's dad are engaged. When Grace and Joe find themselves in Mistletoe Creek, will their attraction be too much to ignore?
This forbidden romance was so good I could put it down!

Cute Christmas romance set in Mistletoe Creek. Grace’s strength and growth throughout the story is amazing, and the journey her and Joe go on together was great to read about. This is my first book by this author, I read as an ARC, and cannot wait to start back at the beginning to read all the books!

I didn't know much about this book before reading it and I'm not sure the blurb fits fully. I could sense the family link but didn't expect & was unsure how the age lie would play out. Surprisingly it worked with very clear consideration of her age, excluding drinking, and the slow pace added to the anticipation.
