Lines on page 74 grossed me out (Act III, Scene 1):

The very instant that I saw you, did
My heart fly to your service; there resides,
To make me slave to it;

Which had me stop reading this book (and many others for similar reasons). Read the abridged editions instead. My assignments went straight into trash can and I was suggested to read The Taming of the Shrew.

My favourite characters are Ariel and Boatswain.

It's only half as long. Never too late.

I had to choose a play for the PopSugar reading challenge. I had read "Tempestuous" which was based on the Shakespeare play so I figured I would give it a shot. I got one with a modern translation because I remember Shakespeare being very difficult in high school.

To my surprise, it wasn't so difficult as an adult. I only needed a few things translated into modern English, which was a nice surprise. The story was okay, not great. But I may be willing to try a different Shakespeare play and see if, as a whole, they are better as an adult.
