The hunters journey back from their mission, dejected. Lightbringer might have changed everything in the war to come. Now, having seen the threat that will soon descend upon their world, they have lost nearly all hope.
Their pessimism is only furthered when they hear about what happened at Xanvir. Hear that the war is already upon them.
They must head for Aglian, where the secret council and Alice would have fled to, they think, if they managed to escape. They can only pray that they did.
It is at Aglian, then, that the hunters must regather. That they must prepare for the battle to end all battles.
The battle against darkness. The battle for their world.
Episode nine in the Hunter Series, a collection of short reads that weave an epic fantasy tale! Immerse yourself in a world full of monsters, magic, and mystery; dark, unsettling landscapes; action-packed fight scenes; and characters that are relatable from the first page!
This series continues to entertain, not particularly profound is unique in some aspects and its episodic nature has kept me coming back again x9. I want to know what is going to happen and I care enough about the characters to not want to see them die. I doubt they will, I kind of hope they will, because I’m not expecting them to. I have the last book and I’m excited to read it. This series has kept me Turing pages and I. The end isn’t that what we want from books?
