Declan and Zoe have to figure out a relationship while expecting!
Actor Declan O’Leary is ready to blow off some stream in Las Vegas after finished filming his latest movie that is going straight-to-DVD. But he never expected to have a one stand after helping app developer Zoe Drake after her friend Caitlin had too much to drink trying to celebrate Caitlin’s upcoming wedding.
Zoe enjoyed her night with Declan but she knew she had to tell him that they were expecting a baby but she never thought he would step-up and be an involved parent while he stayed retired from acting.
I like where many of the characters in the other Hollywood Kiwi’s stories help Declan and Zoe deal with life in the public eye.

Declan is an actor but is not enjoying it anymore. He got himself a bad rep and now just does tv movies (he was in the film with Jessie at the beginning of her book) so he has decided to retire so he went to Vegas to have a night of drinking and whatever else he wanted
Zoe is in Vegas with her friend who gets so drunk she has to carry her to bed. Declan sees her struggling so helps. They spend the night exploring Vegas and each other
After he says he will call her but he never does. She finds out she is preggs and tells him straight away which I loved. Hate it when its dragged on for ages.
He does assume at first that she wants something from him but she has her own money from an app she sold so she doesn’t need him. Just thought he should know. Then he is offended that she doesn’t need him
He says he wants to be there for her so she says he can move in which I thought was a bit sudden but they do get along great and he is 100% all in so I loved him for that.
They have the baby and they meet Delaney and the other woman and he gets a job offer from Josh.
He does the movie and he gets a lot of attention from a female colleague but I loved how he handled it
He makes a big decision after that movie and I love they discussed it an worked it out together.
There was a nice bit with Jessie which was cool
This was nice overall. No real drama and they seemed really good together.
Nice epilogue

Cute story. A standalone with obvious cameos but prior reading isn’t necessary.
Nothing really happens. There is no real drama, no angst, no excitement. no arguments. It’s a lot of just learning each other and understanding.
It’s not a bad story, just a little bland .
