Simply Confusing Or Confusingly Simple: The Weight Loss Equation

Rate this book
Why has such a simple problem become so complex?

Whether you are a vegan or carnivore, whether you blame seed oils or sugar, it seems that whoever and whatever we blame, we as a species are gradually sinking further into the depths of obesity.

This book dives into all the confusion surrounding the topic of weight loss, dispelling myths, and unravelling much of the confusion, all while trying not to call people c*nts.

“If we as a species could eat intuitively, this book would not exist and I would probably be writing a satirical piece on bringing up my children as Xe, ZE or Zim. The truth is, our intuition when it comes to eating probably died out at the same time that common sense did. And this probably died in a mesmeric blaze of woke politics, heavily processed food alternatives, TikTok dance videos and mumble rap.”

Just as the title suggests, Chris makes it easy to understand how your body works. I thought I understood my body, but when I hit perimenopause, I piled on the weight and couldn’t figure out why. This book helped me not only understand what was happening to my body at this moment in time but also reflect on the impact of my choices over the past 20 years. Insightful and practical, it’s been a real game-changer for me.
