Counterexamples (in the mathematical sense) are powerful tools of mathematical theory. This book covers counterexamples from probability theory and stochastic processes. This new expanded edition includes many examples and the latest research results. The author is regarded as one of the foremost experts in the field. Contains numbers examples.
But seriously I think counterexamples are a great way to improve your grasp of various structures and concepts, and this book has a good set of them and is pretty good at proving that they're counterexamples.
Hi Ellie! How's this for a backup chat? (you might have to make an account to write a reply) Got the idea from a post abt the Barnes &Nobles warrior cat community 😅. Probably not very fast, and public.. (or, as public as the reviews for a book from 199something that i found on pg 24 of the mathematics section may be..) Either way, at least its something! Love you, please be safe!
