Fascinating and disturbing

A grim tale featuring unpleasant characters and a disturbing plot. Well-written and intriguing. It would make a great horror movie.

I enjoyed this book and had dark laugh at the subject manner. It's a good choice for readers who like things a little gory and disturbing. Meow!

A gnarly piece of extreme horror.

At first I wasn’t thrilled with the story, the opening pages putting focus on the most mundane of things, but once the story got going, boy howdy did it get going. Suffice to say, not for people with weak stomachs.

I'm really starting to enjoy the novelettes because of stories like this one. Gross and funny all at the same time but it also made me feel weird for cheering for a cat at the end. Highly recommend this one!

Excellent short. Witty and nasty... first time I've used those words together, but it works. Well written, and a quick read that I'd recommend to lovers of horror.

Arnold lives on his own with his seven cats. One day while eating his "fart fuel" (beans and franks dinner), he loses control of his hand, sending his coffee spilling all over him. As time progresses, Arnold continues to ignore the signs that he's in need of medical attention. Before long, he finds himself confined to his bed, unable to move. Seven cats used to daily meals and fresh water soon grow tired of waiting for dinner to be served. What a cat-astrophe!

Such an exceptional story! I read this novelette in one sitting--completely immersed in the story. The writing is very good, with equal amounts of humor and gore. Visually descriptive, I could practically see what poor Arnold had been reduced to.

Very imaginative and highly entertaining, I recommend this tasty tidbit and will be following the very talented Mandy White.
