I was not expecting that to be as interesting as it was. The title and cover kind of drew me in. I was really surprised at how fast I moved through it, and I kinda wish there was more book here. Would recommend.

This book is weird. It's like jumping into an episode of Lost - you're not quite sure what is going on, but you find yourself transfixed by the experience anyway.

We Are the Sharpest Scissors is an entertaining read. It's not a classic, or something that will remain with you for the rest of your days. But it is short, engaging, and you can finish it in an hour.

Good, very good. I've always been a fan of short, violent fiction and this one fit the bill nicely. Not a wasted word or chapter, all very tight.

Honestly? Amazing. Who is Joshua Ventley and why am I only hearing about him now?

This book really snuck up on me. The theme of suffocation and pain and all that went with it...
